Care Simple Linctus is for the relief of the symptoms of coughs. It contains Citric Acid Monohydrate BP 125mg per 5ml. This medicine helps reduce irritation by coating the throat to relieve the symptoms of coughs.

What causes coughs

Most coughs are caused by cold and flu but can also be caused by smoking, allergies such as hay fever, infections like bronchitis, or mucus dripping down the throat from the back of the nose.

Other causes of coughs include:

• Smoking
• Heartburn (acid reflux)
• Allergies – for example, hay fever
• Infections like bronchitis
• Mucus dripping down the throat from the back of the nose

How to take Care Simple Linctus

Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years: One 5ml spoonful, repeated up to four times daily.

Children under 12 years: Not recommended.

What does Care Simple Linctus contain

Active Ingredient per 5ml: Citric Acid Monohydrate 125mg (E330).

It also contains Chloroform, Anise Oil, Ethanol, Glycerol (E422), Syrup (including Sucrose) and Purified Water.
