How to use Co-Codamol 8/500mg Tablets

• Do not drink alcohol while taking Co-codamol tablets.
• Swallow the tablets with water.
• This medicine should not be taken for more than 3 days. If the pain does not improve after 3 days, talk to your doctor for advice.

The recommended dose is:

Adults and children 16 to 18 years: 1 to 2 tablets every 6 hours, as needed. Do not take more than 8 tablets in 24 hours

Children aged 12 to 15 years: 1 tablet every 6 hours when necessary. Do not give your child more than 4 tablets in 24 hours

Children under 12 years: should not be taken due to the risk of severe breathing problems

Elderly: Dosage is usually reduced in the elderly with liver damage.

The blue nighttime tablets contain paracetamol and diphenhydramine hydrochloride, an antihistamine which helps clear catarrh and so aids sleep.

This medicine is for use in adults and children aged 12 years and over.

How to take Benylin Day & Night Cold & Flu Relief Tablets

• For oral use only.
• Do not take more medicine than the label tells you to.
• Take with a glass of water.

Children under 12 years old:  Do not give to children under 12 years old.

Adults and children aged 12 years and over:

• Day time 1 white tablet every 4-6 hours, up to 3 times a day (one tablet in the morning at mid-day and in the afternoon).
• Night time 1 blue tablet to be taken at night.

• Do not take more than 3 white tablets a day.
• Take only 1 tablet at a time and only at the times of day described in the table.
• Do not take nighttime tablets during the day.
• If symptoms persist or worsen, stop use and talk to your doctor.

Our anaesthetic children’s throat spray is designed to be easy to use. Just one spray into the back of the throat (for 6-12 year olds) can be all that’s needed to ease your child’s sore throat. For teens, the adult dosage of three sprays can be administered. The active ingredient in Ultra Chloraseptic children’s throat spray is benzocaine, a local anaesthetic. Using the adjustable spray nozzle, the benzocaine solution is applied directly to the source of pain.

Parents of smaller children should apply the spray for them. However, Ultra Chloraseptic is not suitable for children under six years of age. All children using the spray themselves should be supervised at all times. Our children’s throat sprays have a clever child-safe design. Each bottle has a protective cap, and requires the nozzle to be twisted to an ‘on’ position before the spray can be activated. This prevents accidental use by curious tiny hands.
