How To Use Sudafed Blocked Nose Spray
Position the nozzle at each nostril's entrance and gently squeeze the bottle. Breathe in through the nose at the same time. The spray is non-drowsy and can relieve congestion for up to 10 hours, thanks to its active ingredient, Xylometazoline.

Sudafed Sinus Pressure & Pain 200mg/30mg Tablets contain two active substances: ibuprofen and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride.
- Ibuprofen belongs to a group of medicines known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). NSAIDs provide relief by reducing pain and high temperature.
- Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride belongs to a group of active substances called vasoconstrictors which act on the blood vessels in the nose to relieve nasal congestion.
Sudafed Sinus Pressure & Pain 200mg/30mg Tablets is used for the symptomatic treatment of nasal congestion in head colds together with headache and/or fever, in adults and adolescents aged 15 years and older.
You should only take this combination product if you have a blocked nose with headache or fever. If you have only one of these symptoms you should talk to your pharmacist or doctor about using either ibuprofen or pseudoephedrine by itself.
You must talk to a doctor if symptoms worsen, or if this medicine is required for more than 4 days (adults) or 3 days (adolescents), respectively
How to take Sudafed Sinus Pressure & Pain Relief Tablets
This medicine is for short term use only. You should take the lowest dose for the shortest time necessary to relieve your symptoms.
You must talk to a doctor if symptoms worsen, or if this medicine is required for more than 4 days (adults) or 3 days (adolescents), respectively.
The recommended dose is for adults and adolescents aged 15 years and older: 1 tablet every 6 hours. For more severe symptoms, take 2 tablets every 6 hours, if necessary.
Never exceed the maximum daily dose of 6 tablets per day (equivalent to 1200 mg ibuprofen and 180 mg pseudoephedrine hydrochloride).
The tablets are for oral use. They should be swallowed whole and without chewing with a large glass of water, preferably during meals.

Sudafed Congestion & Headache Relief Day & Night Capsules are used for the relief of symptoms associated with colds and flu, including stuffy nose, headache, fever, sore throat, aches and pains.
The Day Capsules can also relieve tiredness and drowsiness.
The Night Capsules contain paracetamol, an analgesic and antipyretic which helps to relieve pain and fever and phenylephrine hydrochloride, which is a decongestant to reduce swelling in the passages of the nose to help you breathe more easily.
The Day Capsules contain paracetamol and phenylephrine hydrochloride (as above) but also contain caffeine, which provides relief from fatigue (tiredness) associated with colds and flu. Caffeine can also increase pain relief from paracetamol.
How to take Sudafed Congestion & Headache Day & Night Capsules
- For oral use only.
- Swallow the capsules whole with water. Do not chew.
- Do not take more medicine than the label tells you to.
Adults, the elderly and children aged 16 years and over:
- Day time: 2 red / yellow Day Capsules every 4 - 6 hours, up to 3 times a day.
- Night time: 2 dark blue / light blue Night Capsules to be taken at night.
Leave at least 4 to 6 hours between doses.
Do not take more than 6 Day Capsules and 2 Night capsules (4 doses) in 24 hours.
Do not take for more than 3 days, unless advised by your doctor.
If you do not get better, talk to your doctor. The Day time capsules contain caffeine and so may disrupt sleep if taken at night.
What do Sudafed Congestion & Headache Day & Night Capsules contain
Day Capsule: Paracetamol 500 mg, caffeine 25 mg and phenylephrine hydrochloride 6.1 mg per capsule.
