What is Actifed Multi-Action Dry Coughs

Multi-Action Actifed Dry Coughs is a medicine that is used to help relieve dry coughs and related congestion symptoms. The liquid contains triprolidine hydrochloride which is an antihistamine that helps stop sneezing, runny nose and watery eyes, pseudoephedrine hydrochloride which is a decongestant that unblocks stuffy noses and dextromethorphan hydrobromide which is an antitussive to help stop coughing.

The medicine is for use in adults and children aged 12 years and over.

How to take Actifed Multi-Action Dry Coughs 

• For oral use only.
• Always shake the bottle thoroughly before use.
• Do not take more than the stated dose shown in the table.
• Do not overfill the spoon

Children under 12 years old: Do not give this medicine to children under 12 years old.

Adults and Children aged 12 years and over: Take two large 5 ml spoonfuls every 4 - 6 hours, up to 4 times a day. 

• Do not take more than 4 doses in 24 hours.
• Leave at least 4 hours between doses.
• If symptoms persist talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

The active ingredients in 5 ml of Multi-Action Actifed Dry Coughs are: Triprolidine hydrochloride 1.25 mg, pseudoephedrine hydrochloride 30 mg and dextromethorphan hydrobromide 10 mg

Multi-Action Actifed Tablets is a medicine used to relieve the symptoms of colds, flu and allergies, including sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, nasal congestion and blocked sinuses. The tablets contain pseudoephedrine hydrochloride, a decongestant that relieves nasal and sinus congestion, and triprolidine hydrochloride, an antihistamine that helps stop sneezing and runny nose and watery eyes. This medicine is for use in adults and children aged over 12 years.

How to take Actifed Multi-Action Tablets

Children under 12 years: This medicine is not recommended for children under 12 years old.

Adults and children aged 12 years and over: One tablet every 4 - 6 hours, up to 4 times a day.

• Leave at least 4 hours between doses.
• Do not give more than four doses in 24 hours.
• If symptoms persist or worsen, talk to your doctor.

What do Actifed Multi-Action Tablets contain

The active ingredients in Multi-Action Actifed Tablets are Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride 60 mg and triprolidine hydrochloride 2.5 mg in each tablet.
