Tixylix Toddler Syrup is a soothing cough suppressant which relieves the symptoms of dry, tickly coughs. Each 5 ml dose of Tixylix Toddler Syrup contains 0.75 ml glycerol as the active ingredient. This medicine is intended for use in children aged 3 months to 5 years.
How to take Tixylix Toddler Syrup
Use the measuring spoon included to measure out the appropriate dose of Tixylix Toddler Syrup and provide it to your son or daughter. Try this 3-4 times a day, as required, leaving 3-4 hours between each dose. The amount of cough syrup you should give to a child will differ depending on their age:
- Infants aged 3 - 12 months: Give one 5ml spoonful
- Children aged 1 - 5 years: Give two 5ml spoonfuls
After use, wipe the neck of the bottle clean and make sure the safety cap is properly closed. You can help by keeping your child warm and giving plenty of fluids. Make sure the bedroom is well ventilated but not cold. If your child’s condition does not get better in 3 days, talk to your doctor
