What is Woodward's Gripe Water?
Woodward's Gripe Water is an antacid and antiflatulent product. It is used to relieve griping pain or waves of severe abdominal pain (infant colic) in babies, due to trapped air in the tummy. It can be given to babies from 1 to 12 months.
How to use Woodward's Gripe Water
- Give during or after a feed.
- Do not use more than 6 times in 24 hours.
- If symptoms persist, contact your doctor.
Measure out the ideal quantity of Woodward's Gripe Water for your child and use a medication syringe or spoon to give them their medication. The amount of medicine you should give is:
- Babies aged 1 - 6 months: one 5ml spoonful
- Babies aged 6 - 12 months: two 5ml spoonfuls
What does Woodward's Gripe Water contain?
This medicinal product contains 0.7 mmol (or 16.1 mg) sodium per 5ml dose and 1.4 mmol (32.2 mg) per 10ml dose.

How to use Anbesol Liquid
Adults and the Elderly:
- Cover the mouth of the bottle with a clean fingertip, invert once and return the bottle to the upright position.
- Apply Anbesol Liquid using the fingertip, undiluted, to the affected area
- Two applications of Anbesol Liquid straight away, will normally be enough to obtain pain relief.
- If necessary, repeat the application after 3 hours.
Babies Teething and Children:
- Cover the mouth of the bottle with a clean fingertip, invert once and return the bottle to the upright position. This equals to a dose of 0.25 ml of Anbesol liquid.
- Apply Anbesol Liquid using the fingertip, undiluted, to the affected area.
- If necessary, repeat the application after 3 hours.
- Do not use more than 6 times in one day (24-hour period).
- If your child vomits, spits, or swallows the medicine, do not use any more product immediately. Wait 3 hours before using the medicine again.
- If your child’s symptoms worsen, do not improve after 7 days of treatment or you are concerned that your child is unwell, talk to a health care professional.
- Do not use for more than 7 days for each teething episode.
- Stop treatment when your child’s symptoms settle.
- You should check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Echinacea is a plant native to America but is now cultivated extensively in Europe. The plants which go into our product are grown organically in Switzerland at our herb farms.

How to use Eno Fruit Salts Original
For oral administration only.
Adults and children aged 12 and over:
- 5g (one sachet or one 5ml spoonful of powder) dissolved in a minimum of 1 cup of water. Drink as symptoms occur.
- Repeat in 2-3 hours, if necessary.
- The minimum dosing interval of 2 hours.
- Do not take more than 2 doses in 24 hours.
