Daktarin 2% Cream is a medicine which is used in the treatment of fungal and associated bacterial infections of the skin and nails. Skin infections may appear on the hands, feet, outer ear, trunk or groin and include athlete’s foot, dhobie itch and intertrigo.

Daktarin 2% Cream is also effective against infected nappy rash. The cream contains miconazole nitrate which works by destroying both the fungus that causes the infection and some of the associated bacteria which may also be present. It also has moisturising properties to help soothe cracked, red skin.

This medicine is for use in adults and children of all ages. 

How to use Daktarin (Miconazole) 2% Cream

• Each tube of cream is sealed – use the cap to pierce the seal.
• For cutaneous use only, which means it is applied directly to the affected area of skin.
• Do not use more often than the stated dose shown below.

How to apply the cream

• Wash the infected area and dry it well. As many skin conditions are contagious, you should keep a towel and flannel for your own use and not share it so that you do not infect anyone else.
• Apply the cream onto the infected area and surrounding skin.
• Wash your hands carefully after applying the cream to avoid spreading the infection to other parts of the body or to other people. Similarly, clothing which comes into contact with the infected areas, such as socks, should be washed and changed frequently.

Gaviscon Advance belongs to a group of medicines called "reflux suppressants".

This product forms a protective layer that floats on top of the stomach contents. This layer prevents reflux and keeps the stomach contents away from the lining of the food pipe to relieve heartburn symptoms and acid indigestion.

• Allow the treated area to dry before contact with any other surface. The treated area will be stained black after a short period of time.

What is Viagra Connect?

VIAGRA Connect is a treatment for adult men (aged 18 years and older) with erectile dysfunction (also known as impotence). This is when a man cannot get or keep an erection hard enough for satisfactory sexual activity.

Erections depend on many things, including proper blood flow to the penis. If blood cannot flow adequately to the penis, it can cause erectile dysfunction. Erectile dysfunction is a common problem and can affect men differently. Some men cannot get an erection, other men can get an erection but it may not be hard enough for sex, or they may lose their erection before or during sex.

VIAGRA Connect contains the active ingredient sildenafil. It belongs to a group of medicines called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. It works by relaxing the blood vessels in your penis, allowing blood to flow into your penis when you get sexually excited and causing an erection. VIAGRA Connect will only help you to get an erection if you are sexually excited (stimulated).

How to take Viagra Connect Tablets

• Take one tablet, as needed, approximately 1 hour before sexual activity;
• Swallow the tablet whole with water;
• Do not take more than one tablet a day

You will not get an erection just by taking VIAGRA Connect. This medicine will only help you get an erection if you are sexually aroused. You and your partner should engage in foreplay just as you would if you were not taking a medicine for erectile dysfunction.

The amount of time this medicine takes to work varies from person to person, but it normally takes between 30 to 60 minutes to work. You may take it up to 4 hours before sexual activity.

Remember to relax and be patient. There is no rush. If you are not successful the first time, try to have sex again, but remember you can only take 1 tablet a day. For most men, VIAGRA Connect will work the first or second time they try it. If it has been some time since you were able to get or keep an erection, it may take a couple of attempts before you are able to achieve an erection. If you feel the effect of VIAGRA Connect is too strong or too weak, talk to your pharmacist or doctor.

What do Viagra Connect Tablets contain

The active substance is sildenafil. Each tablet contains 50 mg of sildenafil (as citrate).
