Kwells Kids Travel Sickness - 12 Tablets
Holidays & TravelIn stockMore InformationWhat are Kwells Kids Tablets?
Kwells Kids 150 microgram tablets are used for the fast and effective prevention and control of travel sickness. Travel sickness happens when the brain receives mixed messages. Visual messages from the eyes inform the brain that the immediate surroundings are stationary, but a delicate balancing organ in the ear tells the brain that you are moving. This conflicting information triggers nausea we associate with travel sickness.
The active substance in Kwells Kids tablets is hyoscine hydrobromide. Hyoscine hydrobromide temporarily reduces the effect of movement on the balance organs of the inner ear and the nerves responsible for nausea.
Because Kwells Kids tablets melt in the mouth, absorption into the bloodstream is very rapid, and they can be taken up to 20–30 minutes before travelling or at the onset of sickness.
How to help avoid travel sickness
- Sit with the head tilted back to stabilise the balancing mechanism in the ear.
- Ensure the vehicle you are in is well ventilated.
- Try to have a clear view of the window.
- Have a bite to eat before the journey to help keep the stomach settled, but avoid greasy food.
- If you travel by car, take regular breaks for exercise, fresh air and refreshments.
- In an aeroplane, you can ease the pressure on your ears by sucking a boiled sweet during take off and landing.
- Avoid strong smelling food, smoke, perfume, or petrol fumes.
How to take Kwells Kids Tablets
The tablets can be sucked, chewed or swallowed. They have a scoreline so they can be halved if necessary. The tablets can be taken up to 30 minutes before travelling to prevent travel sickness, or even at the onset of nausea.
- Children over 10 years: Give your child one or two tablets every 6 hours, as required. Do not give your child this medicine more than 3 times in 24 hours.
- Children 4 to 10 years: Give your child half or one tablet every 6 hours, as required. Do not give your child this medicine more than 3 times in 24 hours.

Infacol Colic Relief Simeticone - 55ml
Trapped WindIn stockMore InformationWhat is Infacol Colic Relief Simeticone?
Infacol Colic Relief is a medicine that's can be utilised as a relief for ailments like colic and trapped wind. This medicine includes the active ingredient simeticone. Simeticone is referred to as an anti-foaming representative and helps treat pain and bloating brought on by excessive gas.
What causes colic?
There's not any known cause for colic, but it's thought that the ailment is a result of the fact that infants find it more difficult to digest meals. A child may have colic if they shout for longer intervals than usual, around 3 hours per day, three days per week for a full week. Colic begins when a baby is a couple of weeks old and should go away at the time they are just six months old.
Who is this colic relief suitable for?
This colic relief therapy is appropriate for use for babies that suffer from colic or trapped wind. It shouldn't be utilised if the baby is allergic to some of those ingredients that are inside the medication. It must also not be used if the infant has a thyroid disorder. Instead, talk to a health care provider before using.
How should Infacol Colic Relief Simeticone be used?
The suggested dose of the colic relief therapy is a dropper filled with the solution (0.5ml) given to the baby before each feed. Utilise by releasing the Infacol onto the back of the infant's tongue. If there are still problems after using this treatment for 3-4 days, then increase the dose to 1ml. This might help at night, specifically. Continued usage can be performed for a couple of weeks, even when colic has reduced. If there aren't any signs of improvement following raising the dose, then talk to your doctor for guidance.
