- If you have athlete’s foot, it may help to use an antifungal dusting powder as well. Ask your doctor or pharmacist to recommend one.

Calprofen Ibuprofen Suspension - 100ml
Colds, Coughs & FluIn stockMore InformationWhat is Calprofen Ibuprofen Suspension
Ibuprofen belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory painkillers (NSAIDs).
Ibuprofen in Calprofen is used as an analgesic to relieve mild to moderate muscular pain and symptomatic relief of headache, earache, dental pain, and backache. It reduces the symptoms of cold and flu. It can also be used in minor injuries such as sprains and strains. Calprofen also brings down a high temperature, including post-immunisation fever.
How to take Calprofen Ibuprofen Suspension
- The lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest duration necessary to relieve symptoms. If your child has an infection, consult a doctor immediately if symptoms (such as fever and pain) persist or worsen.
- Always shake the bottle thoroughly before use.
- Do not use more medicine than shown in the instructions below.
- Always use the syringe supplied with the pack.
How to use the syringe
- After use, the plug should remain in the neck of the bottle. Wipe the plug and neck clean, and rinse the cap before replacing it.
- Remove the syringe by holding onto the bottle and twisting it out gently.
- Hold the syringe in place, turn the bottle upside down and gently pull the plunger to either 2.5 ml or 5 ml as appropriate (see tables for the correct dose).
- Shake the bottle for at least 10 seconds and remove the cap.
- There is a plug with a hole in the neck of the bottle. Insert the end of the syringe into the hole and ensure it is secure.
- Turn the bottle the right way up.
- Place the syringe inside the child’s mouth against the cheek and press the plunger slowly to release the medicine gently.
- The syringe should be washed and dried after use. It should be cleaned by hand without removing the plunger.

- Do not give to babies under three months.
- Consult your doctor.
