What is Calpol Calgel Teething Gel

Calpol Calgel teething gel Can be used to help relieve pain and discomfort associated with teething for Infants over the age of 5 months. It quickly relieves the pain and soothes your baby’s sore gums with a mild anesthetic. It also has a mild antiseptic to help fight infection. This product can be taken alongside Calpol Suspension if pain and fever relief is also needed. 

Baby Teething Symptoms may include the following:

• Baby teeth sometimes emerge with no pain or discomfort at all.
  

At other times, you may notice:

• Their gum is sore and red where the tooth is coming through
  
• They have a mild temperature of less than 38C
• They have 1 flushed cheek
• They have a rash on their face
• They're rubbing their ear
• They're dribbling more than usual
• They're gnawing and chewing on things a lot
• They're more fretful than usual
• They're not sleeping very well

How to use Calpol Calgel Teething Gel

• Apply a pea-sized amount with a clean finger to the affected area of gum.
• The dose may be repeated if necessary, after 3 hours, up to a maximum of 6 doses in 24 hours.
• Treatment should be stopped once symptoms have resolved.
• Do not use more than one product containing lidocaine at the same time.
