Clinically proven to relieve irritation due to allergens and provides fast relief. It is designed to help restore the balance of the eyes’ protective layer.
Sprayed onto closed eyes, the liposome particles in Optrex ActiMist eye spray collect at the edges of your eyelid. When you blink, the particles gently work in and spread across the eye's surface. As the spray is made from an ingredient similar to that found in the tear film, it helps to restore the gaps in the damaged tear film. This reduces moisture loss from the eyes and helps restore the natural moisture balance for soothing, long-lasting relief for up to 4 hours.
One bottle of ActiMist contains approximately 200 sprays. Unlike some eye drops, Optrex ActiMist eye spray does not need to be thrown away 28 days after opening. In addition, the sterile spray mechanism means that Optrex ActiMist eye spray can be shared between users.

Optrex Bacterial Conjunctivitis 1% w/w Eye Ointment is a topical ointment for administration to the eye only. It contains an antibiotic called chloramphenicol and is used to treat bacterial infections that affect the outer surface of the eye.
The most common type of infection in this area is called acute bacterial conjunctivitis. When you have acute bacterial conjunctivitis the white part of one or both of your eyes will be red and/r your eyelids will be red or swollen. There will be a sticky discharge, which can make the eye difficult to open in the morning and the eye may feel 'gritty' or irritated'.
Chloramphenicol eye ointment is not suitable for treating eye infections that have spread to the deeper layers of the eye coverings or into the fluid within the eyeball. Antibiotic tablets or injections are needed to treat these deeper and more serious infections.
How to use Optrex Bacterial Conjunctivitis Chloramphenicol 1% Ointment
Wash and dry your hands before using. Remove the tube, making sure that you do not touch the nozzle at any point, and then pull down the bottom eyelid and look upwards. When doing so, be sure that the tube doesn't touch any skin or the eye. Set the tube nozzle close to the eye and use 1cm of ointment into the distance between the eyelid and the eye. After that, close the eye for a short period. If you need to use both eyes, then repeat the implementing procedure. Apply the ointment at night before going to bed. Simply use it for a maximum of 5 times.
What does Optrex Bacterial Conjunctivitis Chloramphenicol 1% Ointment contain?
The active substance is chloramphenicol. 1 gram of ointment contains 10 mg of chloramphenicol. The other ingredients are liquid paraffin and white petroleum.
