What is Artelac Rebalance Eye Drops
Artelac Rebalance Eye Drops can be used in adults and children who are suffering from dry eyes. Many factors cause dry eyes, for example, prolonged contact lens use, dry or humid environments, smoking, drinking alcohol, genetic dry eye conditions, certain medications (e.g. co-codamol and antidepressants) and prolonged screen time. Artelac is advantageous as it does not cause blurring of the vision when used.
How to use Artelac Rebalance Eye Drops
When the head is tilted backwards, one drop should be instilled into the conjunctival sac (the pink duct in the corner of the eye, near the nose) three to five times daily or as needed. Ensure that the dropper does not touch the eye. Contact lenses can be used 15 mins after use of the eye drops.

Eye CareIn stockMore InformationWhat are Artelac Single Dose Units
Artelac SDU Preservative Free contains hypromellose as the active ingredient, which is a form of cellulose. Your drops are used as a tear substitute and lubricant when applied to the eye.
The hypromellose in these drops increases the thickness of the solution, which has a moisturising effect and helps the solution stay in contact with the eye for longer.
These drops work by soothing the eye and giving the eyes and eyelids tear-like lubrication.
They are used to treat the symptoms of "dry eye", which is a dehydration of the eye's surface because no natural tears are produced. Dry eye can also be caused if it is not possible to close your eyelids partly or completely.
You must talk to a doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse.
