What are Chlorphenamine 4mg Hayfever and Allergy Tablets?
Chlorphenamine is an antihistamine medicine that relieves the symptoms of allergies.
It's known as a drowsy (sedating) antihistamine. It's more likely to make you feel sleepy than some other antihistamines.

Chlorphenamine is safe to use by most adults and children aged 1 year and above.

If you have an allergy, for example, hay fever, you may notice specific common symptoms when having an allergic reaction. Some of the most visible allergy symptoms include but are not limited to:

Chlorphenamine comes as 4mg tablets and as a liquid that you take orally. If you're taking the chlorphenamine in liquid form, follow the instruction manual that is included with the medicine with regards to how much is safe to take in each dose.
When taking Chlorphenamine tablets, the usual dose for allergies in adults and children aged 12 years and older is 4mg every 4 to 6 hours. Do not take more than 6 tablets (24mg) in 24 hours.
